What age groups does Joyland Preschool/Childcare serve, and how are the classrooms organized?
Joyland Preschool/Childcare caters to children from infancy through third grade. Our facility is divided into age-specific classrooms to support each developmental stage. These include infant, wobbler (for older infants), toddler, preschool I (3-year-olds), preschool II (4-year-olds), and pre-K for children preparing for kindergarten.
We also offer a before- and after-school program for kindergarten through third-grade students. Each classroom is designed to meet the developmental needs of its age group, featuring customized curriculum, activities, and objectives that foster growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains.
What types of curriculum and activities are included in Joyland Preschool/Childcare's programs?
At Joyland Preschool/Childcare, our curriculum is carefully crafted to nurture the whole child through academic, physical, and creative pursuits. We follow a weekly theme-based schedule in each classroom, incorporating art, science, early literacy, and mathematics. Our children engage in interactive learning experiences that cover letter and number recognition, shape and color identification, storytelling, music, and sensory exploration. We support physical development through gym classes and outdoor play, while fostering social skills through group activities, sharing, and classroom routines. Our Pre-K program utilizes common core standards to prepare children for kindergarten, and our summer camp offers exciting additions like field trips, water days, and special events.
Does Joyland Preschool/Childcare offer flexible scheduling and meals for children?
Joyland Preschool/Childcare provides full-day and part-day options for most age groups, with adaptable hours and rates to suit various family needs. We offer before and after-school care for school-age children. During summer, we run a full-day camp that includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack as part of the tuition. Throughout the year, children in all programs receive nutritious snacks, and meals are included in certain programs to ensure children are well-nourished and prepared for learning and play.
