Amanda Kulesza
Owner
Amanda is the owner of Joyland Preschool/Childcare. Before joining us, she was a childcare supervisor and marketing director at a local church. She has a bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University in communications and an early childhood certificate from Columbus State. Amanda has been the owner since June 2008.
Aimee McFarland
Infant Teacher
Aimee is a teacher in our Infant classroom. She has been with us since August of 2019. Prior to coming coming to Joyland Preschool/Childcare, she worked as a nanny for a family for six years.
Alissa Juarez
Infant Teacher
Alissa is a teacher in our infant classroom. She previously worked at here for almost 8 years. She stayed home with her children, Penelope and Angel, for a couple of years then returned in August of 2023.
AJ DeMarco
Older Infant (Wobbler Teacher)
AJ is a teacher in our wobbler classroom. AJ has 10 years of experience working for another local center, as well as 4 years experience as a nanny. AJ started here in April 2024.
Melinda McFarland
Older Infant (Wobbler Teacher)
Melinda has worked in childcare since 2004 at a few other centers in the Central Ohio area. She joined us in November of 2024 as an assistant teacher. She has a child that attends our preschool classroom.
Trudy Nichols
Toddler Teacher
Trudy is a teacher in our toddler classroom. She attended the Licking County J.V.S. where she was certified in early childhood education. She has over 15 years of childcare experience. Miss Trudy previously worked here and returned in June 2008.
Anissa Sharmatiaro
Toddler Teacher
Alissa is a teacher in our toddler classroom as well as a floater. She has worked 3 years at another center as both an infant teacher and a floater. Anissa started here in January of 2025.
Devan Barnett
Preschool Teacher
Devan is a teacher in our preschool classroom. She has been with us since June 2018. Prior to joining us, at another center for a year as an assistant teacher before working in the restaurant business for 4 years.
Emily Terry-Adams
Preschool Teacher
Emily is a teacher in our preschool classroom. She had 4 years prior experience teaching in a childcare setting in both the toddler and preschool age groups, as well as nanny experience. She has also completed courses towards an education degree. Emily started here in June 2014.
Jackeyln Castrodes
Pre-K Teacher
Jackeyln is a teacher in our Preschool II classroom. She has been working in the childcare field since 2008 as an assistant teacher. Jackelyn joined us in November of 2024, however had worked here as a long-term sub prior to starting. Jackelyn is the mother of three daughters.
Sarah Westcamp
Pre-K/Kindergarten Teacher
Sarah is a teacher in our Kindergarten classroom. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in early childhood education. While attending college, she worked summers at a local childcare center. Sarah started here in June 2013.
Katie Warner
Float Teacher/Toddler
Katie has been in the childcare field since 2010, working with all age groups, specifically toddlers. In addition, she was a team lead for 10 years. She joined us in March of 2025 as a floater (mainly in toddlers) and office assistant.
